This started out as a small 2 ft. tall, 2 ft. wide maple stump. We dug around the root system to reveal more wood and were able to stretch out the design to look like a sand bar. The middle of the stump had a crack going through it, so we had to modify the original design to work. This is what we came up with…
This is the second stump carving commissioned by these customers. The first was a cedar light house. We have become friends and enjoy swapping our home grown garden produce and trading recipes.
