Making efforts to give my customers a memorable and rewarding experience with this little care packet.
Here is a 3 ft. walnut coat rack with custom blacksmithed hooks for a friend’s housewarming gift. It was a collaboration- my friend made the hooks and I took care of the wood.
All the pieces have been cut out and sanded. Now, there is a lot of painting going on in the shop this week. This project involves four 3 x 5 signs and nine door signs. Thanks for looking!
Working on a couple sign jobs now in the warmth of the shop. I’m using the cnc router on both sides of one sheet for this one. Tricky stuff, but after a little trial and error, it worked!

Finished this carved dimensional sign for our friend’s bakery. The background has a wood texture, the letters all pop out with the name covered in copper leaf. Constructed in weather proof sign foam with painted angle iron supports. Thanks for looking!
Applying the oil wood preservative to this pine carving after filling cracks from being in the kiln for a week. Next, I’ll airbrush the dark hair areas. Thanks for looking!

In the carving barn with a fresh log ready for the first cut! Started off in the 20s this morning!
Paul Waclo #paulwaclo and I carved this 18 ft. Kodiak 2 years ago at Landon School in Bethesda MD. Here we are filling cracks and applying a fresh coat of oil wood preservative. Paul and I make a great team. He’s a joy to work with and a good friend. Happy Holidays!
Almost finished. A few more details and it’s ready!
Finished 4 layers of epoxy with bondo and fiberglass in different areas. Now, I can start painting!!
Kyle and I finished the figure and the base and got 3 coats of epoxy epsilon pro as a hard coat over the eps foam. A little bit more sanding and epoxy and it’s ready for paint!
The world famous carving legend, Paul Waclo #chainsawcarvingsbypaul met me near D.C. to do some maintenance on our 18 ft. kodiak from 2 years ago.
Life size pine bulldog finished with Ben Moore Arborcoat 326-10 natural oil wood preservative. I had fun turning the head with a slight rotation in the neck as well as sticking the leg out and tucking under the other back foot.
Kyle and I are making progress on this foam/ resin figure.
