Birdhouse, squirrel, raccoon carving

This started out as a 12 ft. maple stump in Bristol, CT. I used 90% chainsaw to carve all the elements and then cleaned up the remainder with grinders and sanders. Then I finished it with deck and fence wood preservatives containing sun, water, mildew and bug protection.

Another happy customer! What a great sight to greet you everyday when pulling into the driveway! This was my first opportunity to carve a birdhouse. I enjoyed creating all the architectural details. It is quite satisfying to see it with color causing all those elements to visually pop out.
