Doing custom work is always an adventure. An airplane maker out of Seattle, Washington got in touch and wanted two matching teak airplane yokes. He sent a metal one as a model to base them from.
First, the layers of teak were glued up to create blocks. Then the band saw was used to cut out the profiles.
Next, the dremels, sanders and grinders were used to create the forms.
The customer added some buttons and applied the finish and installed them. Here they are being used!!
