This was an interesting request. A golfer was hosting a tournament and he wanted the trophy to be an 8″ tall golf ball in the shape of an egg. He was going to paint it gold and mount it on a trophy base.
This is made from high density sign foam and turned on the lathe. Next, a die grinder with a ball burr bit was used to create the random dimple pattern.
