This is one of my favorite bits to do detail work with using a rotary tool. It has the advantage of a point to do precise edging and lines, while also having the large round back side for removing lots of wood when needed. It is a course bit, so it will leave scratches on the surface of what you’re carving, but they are easily sanded out. This versatile shape opens the door for endless creative potential. Try it out!
