A customer in Waco, TX contacted me about getting a Baylor Bear carved for a special alcove in his new lake home. He wanted the bear to be waving, so after some back and forth about the design, we got started! My son, Miciah, carved the beginning of this bear as I was unable because of a shoulder injury. I supervised, and he did a great job!

Here’s the bear installed in its alcove!

Just a few questions:
How long after tree has been cut down can the stump be carved?
How much room do you need to perform typical carving?
Do you work ideas and estimates from photos before a project?
