Mink, Possum, Squirrel – Miss Porter’s School

Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, CT has commissioned a 10 ft. carving of a Mink standing on a Possum standing on a Squirrel. They had a big Oak split in two from the storms this fall and left a stump in the ground for a carving. I submitted several designs and they decided on this one.

The location is great for exposure – A main road with a stop light! Here are some pics of the mink. Live action shots were taken by Chris Noll, the soft spoken, talented P.R. person from the school.

A reporter from the Hartford Courant stopped by and my picture with a caption was in the paper the next day!
