This an old project from a few years back. These bears were carved out of laminated HDU sheets, painted and installed in a half canoe. The canoe then hangs on a wall as interior decor. Thanks for looking!
These are custom letters carved out of weatherproof high density foam to look like antler letters. Then finished to look like cast bronze. Two different sizes 12” tall and 8” tall. Thanks for looking!

This photo shows the sculptural process of creating a life-size bull elk wall mount. Beginning on the left, a model was made with a foam core covered with a thin layer of an oil based clay for the texture and details. Next, in the middle, it shows a mold. Several layers of silicone rubber were applied to the clay model. Then, a hard shell of plastic was troweled over the rubber to a half inch thickness. This outer hard shell is what gives the flexible rubber its stable form. Now, with the mold made, innumerable casts can be made from the mold using a variety of materials including resin, foam, plaster and concrete. The finished cast on the right is a resin cast with actual bronze powder reinforced with fiberglass, expanding foam and metal framework. The finished piece looks and feels like an actual bronze cast. The last step was to apply two coats of a flat automotive clear top coat as a UV sealer. These elk casts are now available for sale. Email me at writecwc@gmail.com for pricing or questions. Thanks so much for looking!
We made a mold of this elk model and made 2 casts in resin with bronze powder. The antlers are added onto the cast.
I surfaced a taxidermy form with clay. Textured, formed eyes and attached ears. Next, applied 3 layers of silicone rubber. The dots are half domes of silicone to act as keys that will nest into the hard shell that gets applied next. The end goal is to use this mold to create two life size elk mounts cast in epoxy resin with bronze powder. They will look and feel like actual cast bronze pieces when finished. Thanks for looking!
Finishing up this double sided sign made from weatherproof HDU sign foam. Scroll work bracket made by some friends at #heritagevirginiamills

Wait for it!!! I am spraying an activator onto a special iron paint. Within minutes, actual rust begins to form all over the surface of this epoxy resin sculpture making it look like a weathered, cast iron sculpture. Thanks for looking!!
This is half of a mold I made of a life-size bulldog. I will use the mold to make bulldog casts to sell. They will be cast in a weatherproof material similar to plaster, and then painted. Stay tuned for more on this project. Thanks for looking.
