The town of Forest Lake in Minnesota ordered two 4 ft. badges for their new Police Station. They sent the following picture of their badge, and we took it from there. The carvings were created using both machine and hand carving. The are made of maple and cherry.
Here are some details of the maple badge.
And some details of the cherry badge…
On the back a french cleat is installed for easy hanging.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!
I have throughly enjoyed looking at your creations. Much creative talent to be found there.
I have been creating Police Shield plaques using a scrollsaw. Any suggestions for adding a SMALL CNC machine, to complete projects no larger than 18″ x 10″.
Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
