This customer requested a rustic mesquite sign with the following text. The size is roughly 4′ x 2’x 2″. The rough lumber came from my friend, Caleb, who runs Mesquite Valley Wood Crafts in Elm Mott, TX. Check out his site here… www.mesquitevalleywoodcrafts.com/ The boards were run through the thickness planer and edge glued to create the large sign blank. I haven’t had much experience with mesquite, but it sure has an amazing color and irresistible grain patterns!
The letters were carved on the CNC and then painted.
Then, the sign was finished with a deck and fence oil wood preservative.
This will be sent out to Phoenix, Arizona to a customer building a new home.
